“Achieving lofty goals takes time and effort, so break them down into manageable tasks each day. This will help you make steady progress toward your rainbow. Do what you must but restrict your list so that you don’t drag today’s uncompleted tasks into tomorrow. Remember that you will not be able to create your pyramid in a single day.. Be patient; it will all work out in the end. The most important thing is to do your best, have fun, and go to bed happy with what you’ve accomplished. Don’t let your day get out of hand.” The Mandino Og

Daily De-Cluttering Has These Five Advantages

1. This is an excellent opportunity to reestablish contact with people, activities, and relevant information that you may have been neglecting in the past.
2. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to keep the things in your life that you have.
3. If you de-clutter on a daily basis rather than waiting for the heaps (and relationship troubles) to grow, you will feel less stressed and spend less time.
4. Maintaining a clutter-free lifestyle and environment will allow you to take advantage of new possibilities and acquire new things.
5. You will enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from knowing that your life is in order.

How to Begin:

Your relationships need to be decluttered. Make a call to someone you’ve been meaning to contact. Offer to meet together after the holidays by sending a card or holiday greeting with an invitation to do so. Get rid of the clutter in your home. Organize and declutter your home: your wardrobe, office, kitchen, and seasonal decorations. Find out what’s getting in your way by taking a peek around. Then take action! Make room for God in your life. He wants to hear from you. Make an effort to spend time with Him. Make it easy for you to spend time with Him by moving them to a location that is convenient for you. Make a clean sweep of your financial affairs. Pay off debt, build your savings, and make a plan to get out of debt or invest the extra money you’ve saved. Clean up your health. Organize your kitchen and refrigerator of junk food, find your walking shoes, and make an appointment with your doctor for a physical exam.

Tips for a Great Career:

Take baby steps. Don’t let yourself get depressed by your feelings of helplessness. Focus on a single area of your workstation or contact one individual. While you’re working, put on some music or an audio book. Make sure to set a timer and stop when the bell goes off. When you’re waiting for the coffee to brew, the laundry to finish, or the toilet to be vacated, use 5 or 10 minute blocks of time. I’d love to hear about your success, so feel free to share it with me. Take a series of before-and-after shots. Enjoy a few moments of clutter-free living every now and again. Make the most of it. When you finish a big project, treat yourself to something nice.
